Travel is the spark
that ignites a bright future

I watched my kids lose the fear of trying something they had never tried before. They will never be afraid of the unknown again.

ACIS Students Really Go Places!

Ryan Brissenden - Alumni '09
"Travel takes everything we've learned in the classroom and transforms it into something tangible. I found myself a more self-aware, observant person. Suddenly I saw nothing as 'foreign', but rather 'yet to be discovered.' I would love to live and work in France for some part of my life. My primary goal is to become bilingual, which will present opportunities that, as a teenager, I could have only imagined!"
Michelle Shupp - Alumni '95
"My ACIS trip was the doorway to the rest of my life. Seeing the beauty of the antiquity, experiencing the pace of Italian life, and hearing the tones of the language changed my life. Since then, I have traveled to five continents and 25 countries. It changed the course of my life."
Sean Hanley - Alumni '05
"High school for me was defined by the trips I took with ACIS. Traveling as a teenager gave me the confidence to take strides into new territories while becoming a young adult. The value of the experience has continued to increase as I make more 'big life decisions' as a recent college grad."
In 2009 Ryan traveled to France with ACIS as a high school senior in Baldwinsville NY. Now earning dual international business exchange degrees though Northeastern University in Boston and Reims Management School in France, he credits the ACIS tour with validating his decision to study and work abroad.

Sean traveled to Ecuador as a high school student on an ACIS trip, and later, to Argentina where he wrote and produced a travel diary series. He graduated from Emerson College with a degree in Film Production. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, and is the Assistant Director of a non-profit cinema arts organization.

Educational With a Capital "E"

Sightseeing and museums are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the educational value of ACIS trips. We work with teachers to identify their key learning objectives, and ensure that they’re woven into the itinerary. Our knowledgeable, enthusiastic tour managers bring history and culture to life for students while free time provides the chance for independent exploration. And that’s just the beginning.

Safety Is Our First Priority

You can breathe easy while your child is traveling with ACIS. Our safety and support infrastructure has been a cornerstone of our business for more than 30 years. Financial security, continuous US and overseas support, and rigorously trained tour managers are just a few of the reasons so many teachers, administrators and parents trust ACIS.
